When it comes to classic car guys, the Chevy (wagon) versus Ford (truck) debate leads to some serious vehicle comparisons in the evening California sun.
I previously captured this camera car preparing for the action, but seeing it trailing a drifting Mustang in its very forward-facing grip-driving mode makes for an effective demonstration of the differences between the driving styles.
November rush-hour traffic in Dublin provides a glowing array down the street, but I have to imagine it’s more frustrating to be sitting in said traffic.
Dawn makes for this dynamic moment when parts of a scene are thrown into dramatic sunlight while others still benefit from delicate, scattered, indirect light.
I like these shots for how the Ford Mustang and Dodge Charger are bathed in relatively gentle, flattering light, but headlights and sunlight make the rest of the scene comparatively high-contrast.
The Lake Cahuilla reservoir on the periphery of Coachella Valley makes a charming setting for early-evening fishing just before the park closes.
The North Country has some serious truck-lovers, and that solid sense of Northeastern populism, to boot. The bumper stickers on this particular Ford certainly embrace the North-Country-ish identity.
Independence Day is a great time for an extra shot: down Park St. in Canton, NY on the first night of the Dairy Princess Festival. Ice cream and muscle cars and John Deere and music in the street. America!
This shot was just taken to test out a new lens and to play with the depth of field, but I like it so much I’m posting it here. There’s something about that lime green that is just asking to be photographed. This is a car that would stand out pretty much no matter where it was parked.
