Northern Vermont is a magnificent place in the winter: skiing, hot cocoa, quaint inns, etc. This warm winter has left those skiers waiting for the actual snow to arrive, however.
I have been thinking the same thing. I’ll be posting in a few days a picture of my great grandmother, Ada, standing by a mountain of snow in the early 19th century in Enosburg Falls, VT, not far from the Canadian border (http://trueliespress.com/ada-of-enosburg). Not only do I love snow but this climate change scares me. I hope that you have good hikes in any case. Deb
